Kings Cornerstone International College (KCIC) offers an exceptional pathway for students aiming to earn a prestigious degree in Accounting from the UTS University. This articulated program enables students who complete a two-year Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business ( Accounting and Finance) at KCIC to seamlessly transfer to the UTS University to complete the Bachelor of Business in Accounting degree over the next one year. The degree covers a broad spectrum of topics to develop your quantitative skills and business acumen, including: Accounting and Accountability, Economics for Business, People and Organisations, Financial Literacy, Business and Social Impact, Marketing and Customer Value, Accounting for Business Combinations, Cost Management Systems, Accounting Standards and Regulations, Applied Company Law, Taxation Law and Professional Accounting Skills.
To qualify for this program, students must complete 2-year BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business ( Accounting and Finance), awarded by Pearson, which includes agreed equivalent modules recognised by the UTS University. This qualification provides 240 credits, allowing students to seamlessly transition into the third year of the Bachelor’s degree program in Australia.
To satisfy the educational membership requirements for entry into CPA Australia (CPAA), Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) students need to complete the Accounting major AND successfully complete subject Law and Ethics for Managers as either an elective or part of another major subject.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, students can pursue various career options, including Accountant, Auditor, Banker, Business Adviser, Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Business Development Manager, Entrepreneur, Financial Analyst and Financial Planner.
