These courses enable students to obtain a professional legal qualification that satisfies the requirements for admission as a lawyer.
To qualify for this program, students must complete 1-year BTEC Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Business, awarded by Pearson, which includes agreed equivalent modules recognised by the UTS University. This qualification provides 120 credits, allowing students to seamlessly transition into the Second year of the Bachelor’s degree program in Australia.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Laws, students can pursue various career options, including Lawyer or legal policy adviser within a government or corporate department, private law firm or community law centre, working in legislation drafting with the Attorney General’s Department. This pathway offers a streamlined and effective route to achieving a globally recognised degree, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on learning to ensure that graduates are equipped to meet the evolving demands of the global business environment.

This course satisfies the requirements for admission to the Supreme Court of NSW as a lawyer provided students undertake the optional practical legal training program as part of the course or at the completion of the course.
