The Apollo University
The M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology at The Apollo University is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in psychological assessment, therapy, and mental health intervention. This program prepares students to understand, diagnose, and treat various psychological disorders through scientific research, counseling techniques, and evidence-based practices.
With a blend of theoretical learning and practical clinical exposure, students gain hands-on experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, neuropsychology, and psychiatric rehabilitation, preparing them for roles in hospitals, mental health clinics, counseling centers, and research institutions.
Bachelor degree in Health Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Social Sciences from a recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks.
The July 2025 intake is ideal for students completing their State Board exams, such as those from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and other Indian state boards, where final exams typically conclude by April. Applications for this intake will close on April 2025.
Before the main program begins, students will participate in a 2-week foundation course, designed to strengthen academic skills, introduce key concepts, and provide orientation to ensure a smooth transition into higher education.
The January 2026 intake is best suited for students following international curricula such as IB, A-Level, Edexcel, or other similar boards, where final exams generally conclude by January. Applications for this intake will close on September 2025.
