The BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Aerospace Engineering provides an advanced entry route into BEng/BSc Aerospace Engineering programs in the UK, Australia or Europe. Upon completion, students can progress directly into the final year or remaining 2 years of a Bachelor’s degree, allowing them to complete the qualification within one or two years. This qualification, equivalent to an Associate Degree, offers a solid foundation in aerospace engineering principles, blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
Developed by Pearson in partnership with renowned aerospace and aviation organisations such as Emirates, BAE Systems Air, Aviation Automation Control, Delta Airlines, the UK Space Agency, and the Royal Aeronautical Society, the program equips students with industry-relevant expertise. Covering key areas like aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, aircraft systems, and materials science, it prepares graduates for the rapidly evolving aerospace and aviation industries.
This progression pathway enables students to smoothly transition to a Bachelor’s degree in the UK, giving them the qualifications and knowledge needed for successful careers in aerospace engineering, aviation management, and related fields, all while being recognised by employers globally.

Entry Criteria Requirements:
Transfer from other college:
You must submit a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application.
Include your semester-wise mark sheets and syllabus (usually available from your library or college/university website) with your application.
Tuition fees are determined based on the total number of credits undertaken. Students must complete a minimum of 60 credits per semester, with each credit priced at ₹3,333.33 plus taxes. Additional credits may be opted for to fulfil requirements for major or minor specialisations, aligned with the career and academic plan and the transfer requirements of the destination university.
The HND in Aerospace Engineering offers a double advantage, providing pathways to both further education and employment. One of the key benefits for HND students is the opportunity to secure part-time jobs directly related to their chosen field of study while abroad. This allows them to apply their skills in real-world settings, unlike many students who go abroad after Grade 12 and often end up in casual, unrelated jobs.
HND students stand out by showcasing their industry-specific skills to employers, making them more likely to gain relevant part-time work during their studies. Additionally, with memberships from the prestigious Royal Aeronautical Society, UK, students gain further credibility and professional recognition, giving them a significant edge in the aerospace sector. This combination of hands-on experience and professional networking opens doors to future career opportunities both during and after their education.
By converting your HND in Aerospace Engineering to a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace, you can earn 120-240 credit points, effectively reducing up to two years of your Bachelor’s degree studies in the UK or Australia. This means you can complete a full BEng (Hons) degree from prestigious Australian or UK universities with just one or two years of study.
This pathway not only saves time but also helps reduce international tuition fees by up to 60%. More than 1 million students worldwide choose this cost-effective route to fulfill their dream of studying abroad while significantly lowering their financial burden.
