The Bachelor of Information Technology in Networking and Cybersecurity is a cutting-edge program designed to equip students with essential skills for a successful career in network management and cybersecurity. To qualify for this program, students must complete 2-year BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing, awarded by Pearson, which includes agreed equivalent modules recognised by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). This qualification provides 96 credits, allowing students to seamlessly transition into the Bachelor’s degree program final year in Australia.

Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Information Technology in Networking and Cybersecurity, students can pursue various career options, including Network Administrator, Cybersecurity Analyst, IT Security Specialist, Cloud Security Consultant and Network Engineer.  This pathway offers a streamlined and effective route to achieving a globally recognised degree, emphasing practical, hands-on learning and strong industry relevance, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Direct entry into the final year of the Bachelor of Information Technology program, students need to meet below  requirements:

  • Successfully complete the 2-year BTEC HND in Computing at KCIC.
  • Pass the 96-credit UTS agreed modules at HND level.

You will pay AUD 1,092 per credit*, with a total of 48 credits required to complete the Bachelor of Information Technology. The total cost is AUD 52,416.

A scholarship of up to 15% is available for KCIC pathway students.
