Program Overview
When your child graduates from this programme, the degree certificate in their hands will carry the name of their university — RMIT, UTS, Essex, or Ulster. Not KCIC. Not an affiliated college. A full Bachelor of Business degree, issued directly by one of the world's most respected universities.
Here is how the pathway works. Your child begins at KCIC in India, completing 1 or 2 years of Bachelor's-level coursework — the same academic standard as the university they will transfer to. During this time in India, they build strong foundations in their chosen specialisation: accounting, finance, marketing, business information systems, or blockchain. Once they successfully complete this stage, they transfer to their partner university in Australia or the UK, entering directly into Year 2 or Year 3 with full credit recognition. No credits are lost. No time is wasted.
For most families, this pathway costs 30 to 40 percent less than sending a child abroad from Year 1. The years spent at KCIC in India are not a compromise — they are a deliberate financial and academic advantage.
Every student who enrols at KCIC is assigned an academic support team that monitors their progress from day one. The goal is simple: every student who joins this programme should transfer. KCIC's reputation depends on it.
All four partner universities — RMIT, UTS, Essex, and Ulster — hold AACSB accreditation, the highest standard in global business education. Fewer than 6% of business schools in the world have earned it. Graduates from these universities are actively recruited by Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY, global banks, and leading technology companies — in India and internationally.
Further studies / Careers
When progressing to a Master’s in the same field after a Bachelor’s from RMIT University, University of Essex, Ulster University or University of Technology Sydney, students may receive advanced standing or accelerated entry. While full exemptions are limited, prior study enables completion within 1 to 1.5 years, with opportunities to enter specialised or advanced streams aligned to their discipline.
Entry Criteria
Completed AS Level (Advanced Subsidiary Level) or equivalent qualification such as CBSE, ISC, State Board, NIOS, or any other recognised Indian or international curriculum equivalent to Grade 11 (Senior Secondary Year 1) or partial completion of Grade 12.
Study Journey from KCIC to Study Abroad
In the first year, students develop core business understanding alongside future-ready skills. They gain capabilities in marketing, leadership, financial decision-making, and project execution. The programme builds digital business awareness, data-driven thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability, preparing students to operate effectively in modern, technology-driven global organisations.
In the second year, students have the option to transfer to Australia and specialise in majors such as economics, blockchain, business information systems, business analytics, or accounting and finance, or continue through the UK pathway. The programme builds advanced strategic, analytical, and future-ready skills for global career progression.
In the final year at RMIT University, University of Essex, Ulster University or University of Technology Sydney, students study advanced subjects aligned to their chosen major, including areas such as accounting, analytics, marketing, blockchain, or business systems. They complete capstone projects, industry-based assignments, and applied research. Subject selection varies by major—please speak to our counsellor or visit us to align your academic pathway.
Upon graduation, students receive a full international degree and are eligible for an 18–24 month post-study work visa, allowing them to stay and seek employment. This visa permits full-time work and does not require employer sponsorship.
Accreditation

KCIC's pathway leads to AACSB-accredited schools at UTS, RMIT, and Essex — joining the under 6% of business schools worldwide that share Harvard's, Wharton's, and IIM Bangalore's accreditation.
Exemptions
Partner universities including the RMIT University, University of Essex and Ulster University offer strong alignment with global professional accounting bodies, ensuring students gain both academic and professional advantages. At the University of Essex, accounting degrees provide up to 9 exemptions from ACCA, along with exemptions from CIMA and ICAEW, depending on module selection and performance. These programmes are specifically designed to maximise professional progression. RMIT University offers recognised pathways aligned with CPA Australia, ACCA and CIMA, enabling students to transition efficiently into professional qualifications. Ulster University similarly provides structured exemptions across ACCA, ICAEW and CIMA frameworks. This integrated academic and professional approach enables students to fast-track towards chartered status, reducing both time and cost while strengthening global employability in accounting, finance and consulting careers.
Industry Collaboration
Partner universities including RMIT University, University of Essex and Ulster University maintain strong, validated industry collaborations to enhance student employability. RMIT integrates Work Integrated Learning (WIL) with industry partners such as Deloitte, KPMG and EY, offering internships and live projects. The University of Essex Business School engages with companies through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), consultancy projects, and innovation centres, enabling real business exposure. Ulster University embeds employer partnerships, placements, and industry-led curriculum design. This applied learning approach ensures students gain practical experience, professional networks, and career-ready skills aligned with global industry expectations.
